The AMMOCAN

Well it’s finally here…..Best Universal Brass Catcher in an AmmoCan II is here. BUBCA II has the same footprint as the original, but is shorter and includes a top attached to the backstop to tame the ejected casing with extra ooohmph before entering the ammocan. It greatly reduces the time needed to setup and takedown. It is two foot shorter in height by use of a top net. Operation is flawless and the price is equivelant to the original.

If you’ve been holding off to purchase, now is the time to bust the cap….. Brass catchers don’t get any operator friendly than this… They do still come in selected finishes and if you have an original system you can order the new system II netting to use on your BUBCA.

Well…it is almost here. The newest of the BUBCA System products is near and is well worth waiting for. I’ve seen the model and it will be the ultimate universal brass catcher ever devised. It is the easiest setup and takedown I’ve ever seen while still inhabiting the original GI ammocan. Simplistic operation and compactness makes a well utilized product for catching, storing and transporting your casings or brass. A simple no-hands approach to the process by capturing the dirty ejected brass, funneling them into the ammocan, and delivered to your brass cleaner, at home by..NEVER HANDLING THE DIRTY BRASS!! This is the motive, or MO of the brass catching business from www.BUBCA.com. No need to get dirty, unless you want to. You can still scoop them out of the can if you prefere to get dirty. You may not have thought of it but the BUBCA system is very versatile, meaning you need not extend the vertical supports above the height you need for a particular weapon, bench or tripod. The backstop extends a full 48? above the container top for maximum capture area.

Conditions may not require you to use the entire height, so you may shorten the support extension for your needs. Depending upon your weapon characteristics, you made need an additional top netting to completely close the open top. This creates another rebound point directing the casing to the shorter rear backstop and into the container.

We have had some customer feedback about enclosing a top for this purpose and as we always do, we’ve heard you and come up with a perfect solution. There will be offered a top netting that will attach to the vertical supports at the approximate 30? area of extension. This will hit the eStore for purchase within the next month.

Now for further versatility there will be a second BUBCA system designed and offered for sale along side the original full size unit, a shortened version for shooters who don’t need the full height extension. The option will be available within the next 30-45 days. This option changes only the backstop and top in a shorted height. The support rods are full size where those that may need a full size backstop also can purchase an additional optional full size backstop completing the full range for the system.

Those that already have the full size can purchase the short size backstop as an option on the website. Look for these changes in the near future and if there are any other comments please send them on the available website page to our attention.

Greetings to all the Nationals Bound Competitors from JSG Enterprises and BUBCA.com. The ad is now running in the Shooting Sports Magazine for June & July which should present the Best Universal Brass Catch All in the spotlight to those who haven’t found us yet.

We really look forward to meeting all the competitors inquiring about BUBCA especially the shortgun matches. BUBCA is perfect for these matches and is also great in handling certain rifle casings including AR 15 with a known ejection path that is within your shooting point. The angle and distance of ejection is extremely important for this device to work properly. Any side ejection pistol that is functioning properly will fulfill the requirements. Rifles are a little more demanding for any position above the sitting, though you can mount it on a tripod.

Proper practice with BUBCA will show you the easy way to collect your brass, especially from the would be brass thieves. When I shot with the Marine Corps Shooting Team it was all but impossible to get my brass as they would catch it in the air before it ever had a chance to hit the grass. I’d like to see them catch my brass on its way into the ammocan. Did I mention that there is no need to touch a dirty ejected casing as it is caught and canned by BUBCA into its ammocan. Directly from the ammocan to the brass cleaner is the right way to reuse it.

Practice, Practice, Practice is the only way to learn and become more efficient in your discipline without being distracted by other shooters or annoyed by brass gatherers. If it doesn’t leave the table, then thay can’t take it from you can they?

WHOOOOAH!! It’s Friday the 13th and I have so much to do. I don’t think I can handle anything today since it will probably be effected by the jinx. You know….. scary. So what must I do, besides work…. take the day to shoot and practice for the Presidents Hundred and the Leg match on this coming July 13th, a Sunday. It’s been some time and I really need to practice as yesterday was proof I can’t shoot a group with hardball ammo.

First, shoot, shoot, shoot, until there is a group forming. Next shoot, shoot, shoot, until the group condenses into the 10X and 10 ring. Practice, practice, practice, until it happens. Control the shot, which controls the group, which reduces the group. I know my Les Baer  will shoot 2″ at 50 yards, so every shot outside that group is my error. I need to correct that error with practice.

Control the weapon to do exactly what it can do and what you need to do to be successful. It is said that 95% is mental and I agree. You are in control. Practice allot over 1000 times and it is committed to memory. This is a if you do it correctly. You must do each and every shot the same, the correct way for you to benefit from this. Do it wrong and you’ve created a bad habit!!!

Time to hit the range and practice, practice, and practice.
